Homepage - Redesign

A large market-specific hero image was added to the home pages to help give the users a sense of community. Efforts were made to select images that have a local vibe. An text overlay with large call-to-action and jump off links to high-converting articles was added. A left-oriented navigation to popular job categories was added above the fold, as well as news tiles. Material design styled cards for company profiles, jobs and events are anchored to vividly color-treated hero images as the user scrolls down the page. This redesigned page has recently launched in Austin, Boston, Chicago, Colorado, Los Angeles and New York.


Home Page - Previous Design

Click maps and analytics showed that users were not engaged with the previous home page design. Many users didn't scroll past the fold, and most users seemed to utilize the top navigational links to view the jobs. Efforts were made to increase engagement with other sections of the site, such as news and events.
